Pineapple Nut Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients:
For the Cake:

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
For the Cream Cheese Frosting:

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Prepare the Cake Batter:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Stir in the eggs, vanilla extract, and undrained crushed pineapple. Mix until well combined.
Fold in the chopped pecans or walnuts.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Bake the Cake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
