Hubby’s top pick, but when I’m strapped for time, this recipe is a lifesaver.

Salisbury steak is one of those comfort foods that reminds me of cozy family dinners after a long day. Originating in the early 20th century as a way to serve ground beef in a more ‘steak-like’ fashion, this dish has stood the test of time. And for good reason! It’s hearty, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. Now, with a slow cooker, you can have that stick-to-your-ribs goodness ready with minimal effort – perfect for those busy days when you still crave a homemade meal.
This slow cooker Salisbury steak with creamy onion gravy pairs wonderfully with mashed potatoes – they just soak up that delicious gravy! For a bit of green on your plate, steamed broccoli or green beans make great companions. If you’re in the mood for something a bit more indulgent, a buttery roll on the side would be heavenly to mop up any extra sauce.
