    1. Knead dough: Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour as needed.
    1. Shape bagels: Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball, then use your finger to poke a hole in the center of each ball to form a bagel shape. Gently stretch and shape the dough into a ring.
    2. Boil bagels (optional): If you prefer a more traditional bagel texture, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Boil each bagel for about 1-2 minutes per side, then remove with a slotted spoon and place them on a prepared baking sheet.
    3. Season bagels: Sprinkle each bagel with everything bagel seasoning, pressing lightly to adhere the seasoning to the dough.
    4. Bake: Place the seasoned bagels on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  1. Cool and serve: Remove from the oven and let the bagels cool slightly on a wire rack before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
