Always Remembered
Despite her battle with cancer, Erica remained active and vibrant in her final months. She attended a pop-up show of artist J. Christopher’s “Beauty Amongst Thorns” in Los Angeles just two weeks ago. In early July, she celebrated the wedding of actress Skye Marshall and actor Edwin Hodge, where she mingled with stars like Kathy Bates, Sophia Bush, and Gina Rodriguez.
Erica’s last public appearance was at the Golden Globes Foundation Dinner at the end of January, where she walked the red carpet in a stunning lace bodysuit and a gold blazer.
Fans have also taken to social media to express their sadness and admiration for Erica’s work and impact. The comments on her last Instagram post are filled with heartfelt messages:
“This makes me so very sad,” one fan wrote.
“RIP to the lovely and talented actress. Gone too soon!” another echoed.
“We love you! Thank you for giving us your gifts,” added someone else.
