When I found this recipe, I knew I had to give it a go. It turned out amazing!

4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, and pepper.
3. Dredge the chicken breasts in the flour mixture, making sure they are well coated.
4. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
5. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
6. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using).
7. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the chicken in the baking dish.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
9. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Variations & Tips
For a lighter version, you can use chicken thighs instead of breasts, as they tend to be more moist. If you’re short on time, cutting the chicken into smaller tenders can reduce the cooking time. For a deeper flavor, marinate the chicken in the honey garlic sauce for a few hours before cooking. And for those who enjoy a bit of crunch, sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds and chopped scallions over the dish just before serving.
