Ready your oven for baking at 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking sheet by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.

Mash the sausage, Bisquick, cheddar, and milk together in a big basin. Use your hands to mix the ingredients until they are fully combined.

Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and, leaving space between each, set them on the baking sheet that has been preheated.

Put in the oven and cook for 20 to 25 minutes, or until done and browned.

Serve the sausage balls when they have cooled a little. When heated, they are perfect as an appetizer on their own or as a complement to a hearty breakfast.
