Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

Method:
Lightly fry your carrots, onions and mushrooms in a pan for 5/10 minutes and then place to one side
Then brown your mince and drain all the excess oil/fat.
Then mix all your fried veg/onion etc and mince together in the pan and add your seasoning. (Tomatoes, salt, garlic, pepper, oregano, thyme)
Place a layer of mince at the base of slow cooker, and layer with lasagna sheets top with your sauce and then a layer of cheese. Repeat this again. I pre warm my slow cooker on high when I start to cook my mince. I then cook it on high for two hours, then on low for two hours. For the last two hours I popped a tea towel under the lid tied around to prevent sogginess.
Better than oven cooked and clean up is easier! Enjoy!
