Really good! My mom has been telling me to do this again and I won’t hesitate!

– 1/4 cup brown sugar
– 1/4 cup soy sauce
– 1 clove garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius) and season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear them until golden brown on each side, about 3-4 minutes per side.
3. While the pork chops are searing, mix the brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger (if using) in a small bowl to create a glaze.
4. Once the pork chops are browned, place a pineapple ring on top of each chop.
5. Drizzle the glaze over the pork chops and pineapple rings in the skillet.
6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit (63 degrees Celsius).
7. Remove the skillet from the oven, and allow the pork chops to rest for a few minutes before serving.
