My hubby often begs me to make this dish for him in the mornings. I need to teach him how to do this himself

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
2. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until it’s browned and crumbled. Drain any excess grease.
3. While the sausage is cooking, prepare the country gravy mix according to the package instructions in a separate saucepan. Set it aside once it’s done.
4. Cut the buttermilk biscuit dough into bite-sized pieces.
5. In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spread the biscuit pieces evenly.
6. Sprinkle the cooked sausage over the biscuit pieces. Top with shredded cheese.
7. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
8. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the biscuit, sausage, and cheese layers.
9. Drizzle the prepared country gravy over the top.
10. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-45 mins or until the casserole is golden brown and the eggs are set.

Once done, remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and then serve your delicious Biscuits & Gravy Breakfast Casserole. Enjoy!
