My hubby always requests me to make him this dish, so I like to call this dish ‘Husband’s Happiness’.

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Slice onion and mushrooms.
  2. Prepare the meat: Pound beef steaks slightly, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Coat with flour: Combine flour, thyme, and paprika in a dish. Coat each steak in the mixture.
  4. Sear the steaks: Heat oil in a skillet. Sear steaks on both sides until golden brown. Transfer to slow cooker.
  5. Prepare the sauce: Cook onions and mushrooms in the same skillet until softened. Deglaze with sherry, scraping browned bits. Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream. Pour over steaks.
  6. Slow cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until tender.
  7. Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and enjoy!
