Ground Beef and Potato Bake with a Fragrant Sauce 

Ground beef, potatoes, and a thick, fragrant sauce come together in this satisfying main meal. This dish is ideal for a quiet evening in or a festive dinner with loved ones. Ingredients: 

  • Finely minced yellow onion 
  • 1 pound of ground beef (450 grams) 
  • 1 cup (1 kilogram) of frozen peas 
  • Oil for cooking, such as olive oil 
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped carrot 
  • 1 diced tomato 
  • Salt and pepper to taste 
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoning powder 
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme 
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley 
  • 1 cup (240 milliliters) of vegetable stock (or any stock) 
  • 1 minced garlic clove 
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric-based flour 
  • 4-5 pieces of parsley for garnish 
  • Peel and slice the potatoes
