ITALIAN STROMBOLI

  1. Prepare the Garlic Butter Mixture:
    • Melt the butter in the microwave.
    • Mix in the minced garlic, parsley, and Parmesan cheese. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the Baking Sheet:
    • Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
    • Stretch the pizza crust out to almost the size of your baking sheet.
  3. Layer the Meats and Cheese:
    • Layer the deli meats: start with the ham, followed by the salami, and then the pepperoni.
    • Layer the cheese on top of the meats.
  4. Roll the Stromboli:
    • Roll the Stromboli lengthwise and ensure to seal the seam well.
    • Seal the ends by pinching them and molding the excess dough to the underside of the Stromboli.
  5. Score and Top the Stromboli:
    • Score the top a few times with a serrated knife to allow steam to escape while baking.
    • Brush the top of the Stromboli with the garlic butter mixture.
  6. Bake the Stromboli:
    • Follow the baking instructions on the back of the Pillsbury pizza crust tube. Typically, this is the same bake time as a regular pizza, but you won’t need to par-bake the crust.
    • Bake until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted inside.
  7. Serve:
    • Slice the Stromboli and serve hot. You can enjoy it with a side of marinara or red sauce for dipping.
