Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well until the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
3. Shape the mixture into ‘fries’ about 3 inches long and 1/2 inch thick. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they are golden and crispy.
5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if using.

Variations & Tips

For a different twist, you can mix in some Parmesan cheese or swap the cheddar for mozzarella for a stringier texture. If you have spice lovers in the family, adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili powder gives these fries a nice kick. For those who can tolerate more carbs, mixing in a small amount of breadcrumbs can provide a crunchier exterior.
