Homemade French Fries Recipe

Cutting the Potatoes:

Cut the potatoes into thin strips, about 1/4 inch wide. You can also adjust the thickness according to your preference.

Coating the Potatoes:

In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with cornstarch until they are evenly coated. The cornstarch helps to create a crispy exterior.

Seasoning:

Sprinkle cheese powder, chili powder, and black pepper over the coated potatoes. Toss again to ensure even distribution of the seasonings.

Frying the French Fries:

Heat cooking oil in a deep fryer or a heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat. The oil should be heated to around 350°F (175°C).

Frying Process:

Carefully add the coated potato strips in batches to the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry them for about 4-5 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Draining and Seasoning:

Remove the fries from the oil using a slotted spoon or tongs, and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Final Seasoning:

While the fries are still hot, sprinkle them with a bit more cheese powder, chili powder, and black pepper to enhance the flavor.

Serving:

Serve the homemade french fries immediately while they are still hot and crispy. They can be enjoyed on their own or with your favorite dipping sauces.

Enjoy your delicious homemade french fries!
