Dinner made by my friend was a hit, totally needed to grab the recipe!

Ketchup, mustard, and other favorite burger toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc.)

Directions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and cook the tater tots according to the package instructions, making sure they are crispy.
While the tater tots are baking, mix the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl.
Form the seasoned ground beef into 12 small patties, about the size of the buns.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side or until fully cooked through.
Place a small square of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking, allowing the cheese to melt.
To assemble the mini cheeseburgers, start with the bottom half of a mini bun, add a cooked patty with melted cheese, place two crispy tater tots on top of the patty, add your favorite toppings, and then cap it off with the top half of the bun.

Serve immediately and enjoy!

Variations & Tips

For a spicier version, add a dash of cayenne pepper to the ground beef mixture or use pepper jack cheese instead of cheddar. You can also swap out the beef for ground turkey or plant-based meat for a different flavor profile. If you’re looking to cut carbs, you could serve the patties on lettuce leaves instead of buns.
