Melt the butter and mix in the sugar with the graham cracker crumbs in a medium bowl. Coat the crumbs with the butter by mixing them well.
Put pressure on the pan surface:
Coat the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish with the crumb mixture equally to create the crust. Put a lot of pressure on it with the back of a spoon or a measuring cup.
Bake:
To make sure the crust sets, bake it for 10 minutes. Take it out of the oven and set it aside to cool while you whip up the cream cheese topping.

Step 2: Prepare the Cream Cheese Layer
Beat Cream Cheese:
Combine the softened cream cheese and sugar in a large bowl and beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Add Eggs and Vanilla:
Incorporate the eggs gradually, ensuring thorough mixing after each addition. Next, whisk in the sour cream and vanilla essence until well blended.
Step 3: Assemble and Bake
Top with Sauce:
After the crust has cooled, pour and spread the cream cheese mixture on top.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the rims are gently brown and the middle is firm but still somewhat jiggly.
Relax and Unwind:
Remove from the oven and allow cool to room temperature. After the bars have cooled, put them in the fridge for four hours, or even overnight, for the best results.
