Blackberry Cobbler

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
2. In a food processor, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt until smooth. Add the cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
3. Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and slowly pour in the cold heavy cream, stirring with a wooden spoon until the dough forms.
4. Divide the dough into 9 pieces, shape each into a ball, and flatten slightly. Set aside.
5. In a separate medium bowl, combine the fresh blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, and ground cinnamon. Gently toss to coat the berries evenly.
6. Transfer the blackberry mixture to an 8-inch square baking dish.
7. Arrange the dough balls on top of the blackberry mixture, spacing them evenly.
8. Brush the dough with heavy cream and sprinkle with sugar for a sugary topping.
9. Bake in the preheated oven until the berries are bubbly in the center and the cobbler topping is golden brown, about 55 minutes.
10. Once baked, transfer the dish to a wire rack and let it cool slightly for about 30 minutes.
11. Serve the blackberry cobbler warm, and enjoy the delicious blend of sweet berries and buttery cobbler topping!
