Chocolate Cake Recipe

 

This chocolate cake is rich, moist, and incredibly easy to make. Perfect for any chocolate lover, it’s a classic dessert that’s sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. With a tender crumb and deep chocolate flavor, this cake is ideal for birthdays, celebrations, or simply indulging in a slice of chocolatey goodness.
Ingredients
For the Cake:

  • 100 g cake flour
  • 20 g cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, sift together the cake flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Once cooled, frost the cake with your favorite chocolate frosting or serve as is.
